Best coffee shop I've ever been to! The espresso flavor was phenomenal, the syrups were top notch, and their bagels are quite literally the best I ever had. Prices are reasonable, the staff is very friendly, and the cafe is cute as well. I cannot say enough good things about this spot. You MUST try it yourself.
they are always so sweet and amazing! if you like energy drinks get the lavender lemonade lotus, she asked me to let her know how it tastes but i forgot so this is my way of saying it's a 10/10!!!
Visiting Washington and found this little coffee shop. Was sad we couldn't find a spot to sit but you know that means it's good. I got a little pastry and it was delicious and had a bagel which was also good. The lady that took my order was super sweet and had great customer service. Love the aesthetic of Curran and the coffee was good and I'm pretty picky so. Would definitely go back.
The seasonal drinks here were tasty and unique. My mom got the Pistachio chai latte, and I got the Maple Leaf latte. The flavors were balanced and not too sweet! I also got the banana ginger muffin, its texture was tender and spongey, with a mild ginger flavor. We were served by the co-owner--a Tacoma native! She was friendly and even recognized my mom from years back. The decor is cosy, there's free wifi, and plenty of seating. Next time I'll try the tea or an unflavored espresso drink.
My favorite coffee spot! Shop is SO cute, fun location (easy to grab a drink and walk the waterfront) friendliest staff and good vibes. The honey nut matcha is my FAVE! Don't snooze on their pastries, esp the savory pinwheel!
Glad to have found this gem after my run along Jack Hyde Park. Highly recommend this place after doing a run or visiting point defiance park. I got the spiced lavender chai with oat milk and the Taurus which is a vanilla chai with espresso, macadamia and chocolate. Both are tasty drinks and the right level of sweetness for me. You can also opt for other types of milk too. I got their everything pinwheel croissant and that was delicious. They have specialty drinks and you can add espresso to them and they still taste great! My drinks and food came out within a few minutes after ordering so the service was quick! The interior is cute with a few tables with outlets if you want a place to work. They have a couch and few seats outside as well to catch up with friends. There's only street parking but it was easy to find.
Second time at Curran Coffee! Such a great place to relax and read a book. The music in this cafe is 10/10. My boyfriend and I ordered a White Chocolate Mocha and it had great flavor you can taste the freshness of the roast. The Everything croissant pinwheel is YUMMY!! Melts in your mouth especially when you get it warmed! They have an actually warmer they use versus throwing something in a microwave and all the other pastries are so fresh. Come support this local Tacoma coffee shop! They are so welcoming and friendly.
Super friendly staff, convenient location, and great tasting drinks make Curran Coffee a place to visit! We've been in a few times and have always had prompt and happy service for the yummy drinks that Curran offers. They're right next to The Spar in a cute corner location with cozy seats and places to sit and chat or work. We love the Aquarius and Green Velvet and would recommend either! Stop in when you're in Old Town and grab some coffee, tea, or a treat (or all of the above).
